How long will it take until I receive my order?

All orders are shipped based on the customer’s chosen shipping method. Website Orders received before 12 pm EST Monday thru Friday will be processed and shipped that same day. Orders received after 12 pm EST Monday thru Thursday will be processed and shipped the next business day. Orders received after 12 pm EST on Friday will be processed and shipped on the following Monday.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Hincapie.com only accepts the following forms of payment:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • America Express

Do you accept international orders?

  • International orders will ship via US Postal Service (USPS). Customers are encouraged to request USPS insurance on all shipments. Hincapie Sportswear is not responsible for items lost during shipping. Customer is responsible for filing claims for lost packages with USPS.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping cost and all taxes and tariffs associated with the order.
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for international order delivery.
  • NO refunds, exchanges or returns on International shipments.
  • All Hincapie Sportswear products are warranted to the original owner against manufacturers’ defects in materials and workmanship up to 1 year after original purchase date. Within that time frame, if a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will evaluate the item on a case by case basis. Customer is responsible for shipping the defective item back to Hincapie Sportswear for evaluation.
  • Proof of defective claim is required. Once the item and supporting documents are evaluated and warranty is confirmed Hincapie Sportswear will send a replacement item at no charge to the customer.
  • All transactions will be processed in US dollars. Methods of payment accepted: Visa, Master Card, American Express. Customer is responsible for any additional credit card fees charge by their bank for exchange rates.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Hincapie Sportswear online is required by law to charge the appropriate state and local taxes where the Hincapie Sportswear headquarters is located. Therefore, taxes will be charged on South Carolina orders abiding by applicable state, local, and county taxes on merchandise, shipping, and handling.

What do I do if I made a mistake on my order or want to cancel?

To request a cancellation or change to your order, please send an email to info@hincapiesports.com as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, please keep in mind our system is designed to process website orders as quickly as possible. As a result, we can not change or modify an order once it has entered the shipping process.

Can I visit your store?

Yes, our headquarters are located in Greenville, SC and we are able to sell retail apparel from this location. Feel free to call or email us for directions. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 9 am EST to 5 pm EST, except all observed holidays.

What method of shipping do you use?

Hincapie customers receive free ground shipping to the contiguous United States on all orders over $100. If you require something other than ground shipping, the cost will be calculated based on the size of your order and your chosen method of delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: Hincapie offices and will be closed Friday, July 29th and all shipments will be delayed until Monday, August 1st.

Delivery Restrictions:

  • FedEx will not deliver to PO Box & AP/FPO addresses. We deliver to these addresses using United States Postal Service.
  • We do not accept orders shipped to PO Box & AP/FPO addresses in AK, HI, PR. For all orders shipped to these locations, please choose FedEx 2Day delivery.

Hincapie Sportswear reserves the right to recalculate incorrect orders to include price changes, taxes, shipping and handling, when applicable. Corrected invoices will be sent via email within 24 hours.

What is your return policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with a Hincapie.com purchase, we will gladly issue a refund or credit for the value of the merchandise within 30 days from purchase. Items must be returned in unworn/unwashed condition with the original hangtags attached. All garments are subject to inspection. Shipping costs are not refunded. For denim, please see our limited Denim Free Return Policy.

Steps:

  1. Call Hincapie Sportswear (864) 400-3040 to receive your RA #. You will receive an email confirmation that same day with your RA #. Please print off the Return Authorization Form to enclose with your shipment. Please have your Sales Invoice # available when calling and credit card information for refunding. Our system does not hold credit card information for website customers; therefore you will need to provide that information to ensure we have the correct card number for the refund. We can refund to a different card than originally purchased, if desired.
  2. On the Return Form, please indicate the items to be returned and the reason for return. Make sure that you include your contact information in case we need to contact you after receiving the shipment.
  3. Enclose the Return Form with the merchandise in a well sealed box. We regret that we are unable to refund your original shipping charges or the return shipping charges unless the return was a result of our error.
  4. Mail the return package to the below address at the carrier of your choice. Packages must be returned prepaid. We do not accept COD.

At this time, Hincapie does not offer exchanges by mail. We cannot guarantee we will have stock available in the item you want if we wait for the exchange order to arrive, therefore we recommend to ship the right garment for you once you request an exchange. If you receive a garment and are not happy with the fit or color, feel free to call Hincapie to begin the RA process for your refund and then re-order the right garment on www.hincapie.com.

When you return your purchase within 60 days, you will receive a full refund to the credit card used for the purchase at the at the original purchase price of the item(s). Once your package has been received, your refund will be processed within 7 business days. A check or cash cannot be issued for items purchased with a credit card, the amount must be refunded to the original credit card used to purchase the product. The credit may not show up until the next payment cycle on your credit card. You will be notified via email when this transaction has taken place.

Please be advised Hincapie Sportswear will not honor our above return policy on product purchased at discount venues, Expo Events or 3rd party online retailers. Hincapie holds the right to request proof of purchase on every returned garment.

Returns will only be accepted with a completed return form.

Hincapie Retailer clause:
If you are not satisfied with products that you have purchased at one of our Hincapie retailers, please return the merchandise to the same retailer for replacement, refund, or credit.

What is our denim free return policy?

Worried about getting the right size? Don’t be, with Hincapie’s Denim Free Return Policy. Every pair of jeans is shipped with a postage paid return label for FedEx ground shipping valid for 30 days from the original date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with your Hincapie Premium Denim for any reason, simply return the unused product to Hincapie for an exchange or full refund. Please follow the Return & Exchange Procedure to insure a prompt replacement, refund, or credit. Hincapie's Denim Free Return Policy Offer is valid on Hincapie Premium Denim products only for 30 days from the original date of purchase. Return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund total for product that is returned after 30 days. Offer valid for US residents only.

What is your warranty policy?

Potential Problems with your Hincapie Apparel and our advice to avoid:

We aim to produce the best cycling apparel in the world. Due to normal wear & tear, our products will not last forever, nor do we guarantee that they will. Below are a few potential problems that we have seen over the years. We recommend the below advice for avoiding any damage to your Hincapie Apparel since none of these issues will be covered by our warranty policy.

  • Logo Peeling Off - This can happen if the garment is subject to improper wash care. Placing your Hincapie apparel in the dryer will significantly reduce the longevity of the logos. Make sure to line dry your all of your Hincapie apparel and do not use fabric softener.
  • Fabric Pilling - Fabric pilling does not occur from manufacturing defect. It is a result of abrasion, always. Please do not use embroidered saddles with Hincapie apparel. Make sure the Velcro on your saddle bag does not directly come into contact with your shorts, as this will lead to piling. Make sure not wash with any Velcro items (i.e. gloves, shoe covers, etc.).
  • Fabric Deterioration - Fabric will wear over time, especially with the components of sweat that naturally break down fabrics. We recommend that you wash your Hincapie apparel very quickly after use and make sure to store in an area that is free of excess moisture.

What we will warranty within the warranty time frame?

  • Chamois Insert comes unstitched
  • Zipper breaks
  • Thread breaks – in most cases we can repair, but not every case

Warranty Policy:

All Hincapie Sportswear products are warranted to the original owner against manufacturers’ defects in materials and workmanship up to 1 year after original purchase date. Within that time frame, if a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will evaluate the item on a case by case basis to decide if it is eligible for repair or replacement, at no cost to the customer. If you have purchased a Hincapie Sportswear item at one of our many retailers, please handle your warranty directly with that shop. Hincapie Sportswear will not be able to issue a warranty RA if we do not have proof of purchase in our records.

If the defective product is outside the warranty return time period, repairs will be made at a reasonable charge. Please see the chart below for pricing guidelines for warranty repairs.

Garments returned for warranty inspection must be cleaned. If they are not cleaned upon receiving, the garments will be sent back to the customer and they will forfeit their warranty rights.

Regular shipping charges will apply to receive your repaired items that fall outside the warranty.

For repairs/warranty issues, please call Hincapie Sportswear at 864.400.3040 for a warranty authorization number. Please download the Warranty Authorization Form, which will need to be returned with your defective products.

Garments without a WA# or Warranty Form will be returned.
